Waste management for local authorities

In Europe, local authorities have an ever-increasing need for professional service providers that take account of the specific waste management needs of their sector.

An experienced partner

Indaver has been a reliable partner for local authorities for many years. Across Europe, we provide a customised response to the needs of local authorities and waste management regions via our Public Waste Partnerships process.

“Indaver is familiar with how intermunicipalities operate, so it has a thorough understanding of the problems a government body may face.”

A wide range of services

Indaver works with local authorities in three specific ways:

  • Treatment of household waste
Indaver provides flexible processing solutions for many types of household waste. Because we own our own treatment plants and have a wide network of partners we can delivery continuity and guaranteed capacity.
  • Organisation of waste management systems
Indaver takes over responsibility for organising all aspects of waste management. Each local authority or waste management region can decide individually which areas they wish to outsource to Indaver and which areas they wish to retain control over.
  • Facility management
Indaver takes charge of building, operating or managing treatment plants on behalf of local authorities or waste management regions. Our expertise guarantees a cost-effective and durable solution.

Flexibility and transparency

  • Flexible forms of cooperation
Indaver works with local authorities in a number of different ways. These include traditional contracts based on public tenders, rights of use in our treatment plants and concession agreements.
  • Transparency and open communication
Local authorities can always count on open communication and full transparency both in terms of pricing and administration.
