Merlin Treuer (21) got to know Indaver through a dual learning programme. After his training, he was immediately offered a full-time contract here as a project engineer. What he likes about Indaver is that he can always turn to his experienced colleagues for advice.

“, I have been working at Indaver for six months. I am sometimes shocked at how quickly time flies. During my undergraduate studies, I could immediately apply here what I learned in a highly accessible working environment. Age, position or department are irrelevant. Everyone is on equal footing."

Interaction between young and old

"Everything immediately felt familiar," according to Merlin. "In Germany, we are typically slightly more business-like in the beginning. You are more likely to address each other by last name, but here it immediately went like: ‘Hey, Merlin, how's it going?’ If you can interact like that on the shop floor, it also has a positive impact on your results and motivation. That open atmosphere makes for a good connection with my colleagues. The fact that I'm still young doesn't matter here. Older colleagues sometimes have problems with new, digital applications. My manager asked me to support them in this. I’m happy do so and they are grateful for that help."

"I feel that good interaction between colleagues is important. I learn here every day, but I also want to be able to give something back. This is possible here. Acquiring such experience as a young employee is invaluable."

That is why Merlin opted for Indaver: "I immediately felt a connection to all my colleagues. The open working atmosphere really motivates me."
